The Barossan showcases the superb fruit sourced from the many fabled sub-regions across the Barossa Valley. A selection of the Barossa's key growers, renowned for their quality and skill, have shared their passion and pristine fruit to create this ultimate expression of a great Barossa Grenache. The wine displays bright purple hues with a core of garnet red. The lifted palate is smooth and silky with raspberry, violet flower and a hint of dried sage. This juicy red wine is perfect to accompany antipasto dishes, smoked meats and many Asian-inspired dishes with a bit of spice. A variety made famous in Spain, this is a medium-bodied wine with seductive flavours of maraschino cherry, plums and subtle spice along with well integrated savoury oak. There is a pleasing soft and silky texture to the mid palate and the wine has a long, persistent finish.
